miPLACE offers a wide variety of online learning experiences for educators' own professional learning.  Learners can even apply for SCECHs or request a certificate of completion to share what they've learned from miPLACE courses.

Step-by-step guide

Here is how to search and add yourself to a course:

  1. Click on the Green Tab for the "Course Hub."

  2. Click “Search the Course Catalogue" block at the top of the page.

  3. Use the “search by” field to find a specific course by typing a keyword or words from the course name into the field.

  4. You can also use the advanced search on the left to search by course category, SCECHS, or other areas of interest.

  5. Click on the information icon next to the title of each PL offering in order to see a description and get enrollment information.

  6. Click “view course” to enroll.

  7. Check your email for a Welcome email from your course and get started!

 

The courses you register for show up on the “My Learning” page when you log in for easy future access.
